Out-of-Network Insurance
For insurance plans not listed above, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Some plans may offer partial reimbursement. I can provide a receipt (superbill) for submission to your insurance company. Verifying coverage and reimbursement is the client’s responsibility prior to beginning therapy.
Understand Your Benefits
Therapy services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Because coverage varies, it’s important to contact your insurance provider directly to understand your benefits.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
Do I have mental health benefits? • What is my deductible, and has it been met? • How many therapy sessions are covered per year? • What portion of each session is reimbursed? • Is prior authorization required? • Are there any additional restrictions or limitations?
Out-of-Network Insurance
If your insurance plan is not listed above, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Some clients may still be eligible for partial reimbursement depending on their plan. I’m happy to provide a receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company if you choose to pursue reimbursement.
Working Outside of Insurance
Some clients choose to work outside of insurance for the added privacy it offers, as less personal information is shared with third parties. Others appreciate the flexibility to shape the focus and length of therapy together, without limits or treatment requirements set by insurance providers.
Understanding Reimbursement
If you plan to seek reimbursement, contacting your insurance provider directly can help clarify what is available to you. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, and confirming these details prior to starting therapy is the client’s responsibility.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of each session.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions are billed at the full session rate and are not covered by insurance.
Telehealth
Serving adults in Washington State via secure telehealth.
Good Faith Estimate
